The visitor whose article about Nibiru I evaluated in Chapter 3 emailed me that he had read the chapter and made some significant statements and a request of me! And I felt that my answer to his thoughtful response would be fitting as an interlude for this place in the development of this website! So here is that answer:

Dear Visitor:

I commend you on your willingness to receive correction graciously, even with an appetite to learn more from whatever source! Yehovaw said, through Yeshuaw:

Blessed are they who do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled! (Matthew 5:6)

In the mighty name of Yehovaw I speak that blessing upon you, for the hunger you have shown for His truth in all things, into which, His promise is, we will be guided by ha Kodesh Ruakh, His holy "Spirit of Truth". (John 16:13)

The subtitle I gave to HonorHisSons.com is "A Unique Report on the Works of Zecharia Sitchin as They Relate to Yehovaw's Holy Bible"! I have received, as a prompt from Yehovaw, your request for a chapter giving "the reasons why" I "think that Nibiru is connected to the Bible (if" I "think that at all)" giving "examples of it that" I "think may refer to it in the bible".

In my archives is the beginning of the project I undertook to fulfill the above subtitle, when I established the website! But soon after I did launch it, I had a visitor request information specifically about Nabiru, which is why the material on that topic was there, to attract your interest.

No thorough research of Zecharia Sitchin's work would be complete without noticing Nibiru; and the part it played in the Great Flood certainly ties it in with the bible's account of that flood!

But, honestly, beyond that particular involvement, I cannot think of another place in Mr. Sitchin's work where Nibiru's activity is directly associated with the bible's historical record, except as a background fact helping to explain the Anunnaki's comings and goings, while they continued to manage or mismanage the race of homo sapiens they began by cohabiting with the homo-erectus beings they found on Earth when they first came, which management and the places involved with it do relate to the many human activities found recorded in Yehovaw's Holy Bible!

What had got my attention while studying Sitchin was the amazing multitude of times he had shown what archaeological diggings and the Sumerian tablets had confirmed of events and places that the bible does faithfully record.

These ancient records show that the activities of the Anunnaki had a tremendous bearing upon and give insight into the events and places to which the bible attests, as another relatively ancient record! So what I intended for the website was to show that extensive correlation between Mr. Sitchin's work as a devout Jew and the bible he has continued to honor as a Jew and as the excellent scholar of ancient records that he became, which now gives us a greater understanding of what did happen over the millennia covered by the bible and over those that go clear back 450,000 years, to when the Anunnaki first arrived under Enki's mission to explore Earth!

The first visitor's interest in Nibiru and the additional questions raised by your fine article have served to give the Anunnaki's home planet its due on the website; but, with that topic having been laid to rest, as having much relevance to the end-time events over which there is so much interest these days, all I really have left to emphasize is the confirming and clarifying effect of the records that Mr. Sitchin has tirelessly shared with his readers, for their edification in understanding and appreciating what has gone into who and what we are!

In my humble view, the alignment of our planets that you mentioned as a factor anticipated in Nibiru's effect upon Earth is speculative armchair astronomy at best, about which I have heard for years, one version being that such an alignment was responsible for the "star of Bethlehem", which led the wise men of Babylon to the Christ child.

The absence throughout Sitchin's entire work of any mention of alignments being particularly significant in Nibiru's visits in 450,000 years of the Anunnaki's astounding observations of astronomy as it relates to Earth leaves me with all the more suspicion that there is little cause to get excited about planetary alignments.

You have characterized yourself as a layman with respect to biblical matters; I, too, am a layman, with respect to matters of astronomy and physics; yet logical thought even on my part about what actually goes on scientifically speaking with respect to aligned planets leaves me with little respect for such speculations!

Without having a single equation in my head about it, I am under the impression that the effects of gravity are felt in proportion to the distance one is from any physical mass! That is why it was only when Nibiru came near Earth that its gravity became a problem in relation to the unstable ice shelf in Antarctica!

What, then, has the alignment of planets got to do with their combined effect upon Earth?

Regardless of where planets are in regard to one's line of sight from Earth, are they not all still at the same distance from Earth that they always have been?

The assumption is made that, being in a straight line in relation to Earth, all the planets together produce a gravitational pull upon Earth that is greater than at any other time! And who can refute that assumption; but the question arises: So what?

Astronomers tell us that the presence of unseen planets can be adduced by measuring the gravitational effect that they have upon their sun, the wavering of which can be seen, as they make their way around it; but is that a traumatic effect or a slow change in the direction of an object causing the variation or wobble in the sun's orbital progress within a galaxy?

The same can be asked of the gravitational effect of one planet upon another, as their progress within their respective orbits changes the distance between them. The combined effect of the gravities of all planets in an alignment may be there and measurable; but the effect has been there all the time, slowly varying as the alignment formed or disappeared! With the effects of all of that respective travel's being infinitesimal in relation to other more local influences, such as being hit with a meteorite, one has to wonder what all the fuss is about.

The same is true of Nibiru's approach, nearness to and then leaving of Earth's proximity; it is a slowly developing, years long visit and receding change in gravitational effect as that changes with distance! So it was only when a tragically unstable condition of an ice pack on Earth was in place to be nudged at just the wrong time by Nibiru's nearness that we have any record of a catastrophe's coming of a crossing by Nibiru.

So, granting the theoretical change in gravitational pull by neighboring planets, however slight whether by aligned local planets or by the visiting 12th planet, the exponents of alignment-produced calamities seem to have little or no facts to back up their ceaseless speculations!

Interestingly, scientific studies relating to the release of “super volcanoes” indicate that their times of release conform to consistent and predictable periods of time; yet the scientists who have given such great attention to that amazing phenomenon have failed to relate those cycles to any consistently recurring phenomena in the heavens!

Similarly, as I pointed out in Chapter 3, the recurrence of highly significant events that appear to correlate with entering new “houses” of the zodiac while leaving others has no rhyme or reason with respect to scientific cause and effect considerations, leaving only the coincidence of the two frames of reference!

So the minute I got the picture from Mr. Sitchin's description of “precession” and its effect of progress through the zodiac, I continued praising Yehovaw, “the Creator of All”, as the Anunnaki call Him, Who delights Himself in being, with His children's help, the Determiner of all events, Who pleases Himself in being cyclic in the recurrence of His major events, the same way you and I get through a day by adhering to routine patterns of activity!

One space-bound body's hitting another brings up the time eons ago when one of Nibiru's moons impacted Tiamat, the planetary body that became Earth, as it was left horribly disfigured although bathed in water in a new orbit, about which Sumerian records of the Anunnaki's astounding knowledge of astronomical history give us insight! That is an awesomely relevant account of an extremely traumatic effect upon Earth by the impact of at least one of Nibiru's moons; but that collision precedes the Great Flood so far as to be beyond the scope of the bible's considerations, unless one wishes to interpret the difference between Genesis 1:1 ("In the beginning God created the heaven and the Earth") and Verse 2 ("And the Earth was without form and void") as the difference between Tiamat and what was left of it after being impacted by one of Nibiru's moons!

By the sovereign hand of Yehovaw, nothing like that has happened since then that we know anything about; so that entire episode drifts off into the mists of antiquity too far distant to make much difference to us here and now!

The Sitchin project that I started and then stored in my archives barely scratches the surface of all that his work includes in his faithful showing of so many Sumerian and other ancient records, revealed through archaeological digs, that do confirm things found in the bible's record, which is why I was reluctant to release on the website what I did do – an “all or nothing” attitude that the interests of you visitors is showing to be remiss!

So I vow, just as soon as present demands upon me can be cleared away, to dust off what I did do to compare Sitchin's work with the bible, however incomplete, and get it on the website, to show at least some diligence on my part in fulfilling what my own title says the website should be all about!

But I pray that you will be patient with me, in that regard; to my knowledge, I am only one lone servant of Yehovaw doing any such thing! I await the completion of this website "with excitement".
