Please be aware, at the outset of this venture, that my effort to pass on some of the benefit of Zecharia Sitchin's amazing books will be on the other end of the scale from Mr. Sitchin's impeccable scholarship, most of my effort herein being off the top of my head, as one would sit over a cup of coffee with a friend and simply recount an exciting new discovery, without any pretense to establishing the news with any proof!

Through his astounding books, Mr. Sitchin labors long and hard to give all kinds of proof; and one's exposure to the research that he reflects in his writings leaves one vibrating with the overwhelming scope of it. If you are interested to know what works I am talking about, please go to my list of his titles!

As I roam around in the extensive collection I now have of Mr. Sitchin's books, I will run into places where he has addressed the topics I may have discussed! And I will share those quotations with you, as I run into them. But I cannot stand the idea of sitting on my overview of Mr. Sitchin's amazing knowledge of the Anunnaki while trying to research all that might be brought to bear upon the field!

So take what I will be writing about Mr. Sitchin's books for what it may be worth to you; and, if it recommends to you a reading of those books for yourself, so much the better! My own reading of them was an astonishing adventure that I will never forget! And on this website I am, simply, trying to tell you, as best I can, why that was so and what it has meant to my wonderful walk with Yehovaw or "Yaweh", as Mr. Sitchin chooses to call Him!

The bible's "Nefilim", who "descended to Earth", had a name that the Sumerian texts consistently gave them: it is the "Anunnaki", which also means "they who from Heaven came down"!

So, if the Anunnaki indeed "from Heaven came down", they had to come down from somewhere in Heaven! So, fittingly, Mr. Sitchin began his "Earth Chronicles" series of books by focusing upon the planet from where the Anunnaki did come, according to the Sumerians, who attributed all that they knew to the Anunnaki!

The UFO phenomena have been difficult to absorb in view of the fact that the known planets in our solar system have been found to be uninhabitable and the technology required to reach even the nearest star is beyond our present comprehension!

But the records Mr. Sitchin shows his reader speak of another alternative - specifically, a twelvth planet, which presently is out of sight due to an elongated orbit around our sun similar to that of a comet, coming back into a proximity to Earth only once in 3600 years! Mr. Sitchin wrote:

The writings of the ancient Near East, which include a profusion of astronomical texts, clearly speak of a planet from which these astronauts or "gods" had come. ("The Twelvth Planet", Avon Books, Page viii)

Mr. Sitchin pled with his Readers:

As we ourselves venture into space, a fresh look and an acceptance of the ancient scriptures is more than timely. Now that astronauts have landed on the Moon and unmanned spacecraft explore other planets, it is no longer impossible to believe that a civilization on another planet more advanced than ours was capable of landing its astronauts on the planet Earth some time in the past. ("The Twelvth Planet", Avon Books, Page viii)

Once "the ancient scriptures" were taken seriously, at least by Sitchin and a few loyal readers, a flood of amazing associated considerations came with those scriptures, such as the part that the Anunnaki played in the development of ourselves as a new species on Earth and what the Anunnaki had to do with the preservation of mankind in the Great Flood, as Yehovaw's Holy Bible relates it in the story of Noah!

Then the sudden development of the amazing civilization of Sumer, where Iraq now sits, began to make sense, the sudden appearance of which had baffled archeologists for decades, their having asked, Where in the world did it come from, with no prior evidence of any such highly advanced civilization ever having been found?

Equally baffling had been the question of where the Sumerians went, with equal suddenness, the disappearance of their high civilization having coincided with the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, as it was told by Yehovaw's Holy Bible! But again Mr. Sitchin's mastery of the ancient languages brings new light to these vexing enigmas through the diligent address he has given them through his abundant writings!

Through Mr. Sitchin's tireless dedication to communicating the historic truths that the Sumerian and other ancient texts give us, even Yehovaw's Holy Bible takes on a new significance, as Mr. Sitchin's knowledge of the original Hebrew shows place after place where Yehovaw's prophets make reference to the Annunaki as having a vital part in the spiritual practical and prophetic matters to which Yehovaw addresses Himself through His prophets for the benefit of His chosen people, the children of Israel!

Through Mr. Sitchen's conveyance of ancient truth we learn that Abraham, the forefather of the children of Israel, was not only a Sumerian but one with an high military rank and a definite mission to perform in relation to the interests of the Anunnaki in their spaceport in the Sinai Penninsula!

The Holy Bible reports Abraham's victory over a confederacy of kings who had dared to attack that area; and he did so with a crack military force that was far more impressive than the handful of servants and local allies that are implied by the biblical account.

That task completed, Yehovaw then confirmed a covenant that He had made with Abraham before Abraham's father, Terah, a Sumerian priest, left Ur, a flourishing Southeastern Sumerian city, and took his familyh to Haran, a Northwestern Sumerian city in relation to the extensive area then occupied by Sumer, on the Euphrates and Tigres rivers!

His being a Sumerian, the pureness of his bloodline was of concern to Abraham, which concern resulted in the legal right of Yeshuaw to David's throne, David having been one of Abraham's Sumerian descendants! But, interestingly, Yahovah's covenant of the circumcision was not only "between Me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee" (Genesis 17:7), it also included "every man child in your generations, he who is born in the house or bought with money of any stranger, who is not of thy seed". (Verse 10)

Later, Yehovaw instructed Moses, concerning a "Passover" meal, which would protect the children of Israel from the plague of death that He was about to bring upon the Egyptians! And in that instruction Yahhovaw gave more detail to the matter of who His covenant of the circumcision was to include! He said, through Moses, to the children of Israel:

⁴⁵A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof! (Exodus 12:45) But

⁴⁸when a stranger shall sojourn with thee and will keep the Passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised! And then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one who is born in the land! For no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof! ⁴⁹One law shall be to him who is homeborn and unto the stranger who sojourneth among you. (Exodus 12:48 and 49)

Consistent with that inclusiveness of Yehovaw's covenant with Abraham was the commandment He voiced through Yeshuaw, when Yeshuaw had made of His own body and blood, His "new covenant with the House of Israel"! (Jeremiah 31:31; Matthew 26:28) Yehovaw said, through Yeshuaw:

¹⁹Go ... and teach all nations ... ²⁰ ... to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:19 and 20)

So the way in which all nations would eventually be blessed by Yehovaw would be by inviting them to enter into His covenant of the circumcision with Abraham, which has nothing to do with any bloodline! It has everything to do with one's heart toward Yehovaw! He said, through Moses:

¹It shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all His commandments, which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the Earth!" ²And all these blessings shall come on thee and overtake thee. (Deuteronomy 28:1 and 2)

Abraham was visited by Yehovaw and two angels! And Yehovaw promised Abraham that Sarah would bear him a son in their advanced age, whom he was to name "Isaac", which prophesy was fulfilled the following year!

Abraham sent a servant, back to Haran, for a wife for Isaac, so that his Sumerian bloodline would be kept pure! And Yehovaw said, to Isaac:

⁴I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of Heaven and will give, unto thy seed, all these countries! And in thy seed shall all the nations of the Earth be blessed; ⁵because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes and My law! (Genesis 26:4 and 5)

That prophecy establishes that, as a Sumerian, Abraham's faithfulness had been to Yehovaw and to His toraw or law, that Yehovaw had been the Lord God of the Sumerians, who attributed all their wisdom to the Anunnaki, who therefore had to be on their exalted level also the stewards of Yehovaw's toraw or law, which gives, to the version of it that has been given to our generation all the more significance and authority!

Furthermore, this honor for Yehovaw's toraw or law among the Sumerians, who got their Wisdom from the Anunnaki, confirms the Anunnaki as indeed being "the Sons of God" (Genesis 6:2), in being a race of people with a reverence for Whom they called "the Creator of All", in perfect accord with Yehovaw's word through His faithful apostle:

As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God", even to them who believe on His name! (John 1:12)

Isaac's son, Jacob, went back to Haran, in Sumeria, for his four wives; Yehovaw gave him the name "Israel" ("He will rule as God" - Strong: Hebrew: 3478); and his twelve Sumerian sons became the forefathers of the Sumerian children of Israel, the ongoing stewards of the heart of Anunnaki wisdom, which on Mount Sinai Yehovaw confirmed to them again as His toraw or law through Moses, its expressed purpose having been to bless "all the nations of the Earth"! (Genesis 26:5)

Yehovaw's prophecy to Isaac that He would "make thy seed to multiply as the stars of Heaven" (Genesis 26:4) was fulfilled, over the centuries! And, when they were taken captive by the Assyrians and taken Northward, ten tribes of Israel migrated Westward, across the land above the Mediterranean Sea, leaving the names of their tribes on one map after another!

The Israelites went to Europe and, eventually, to America! And, when the tribes of Judah and Benjamin, who remained, were conquered by the Romans in 70 A.D., they, too, were dispersed to all nations, as anticipated by Yehovaw, when He prophesied, to Moses:

¹It shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the cursing, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee ²and shalt return unto the Lord thy God and shalt obey His voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart and with all thy soul ³that then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity and have compassion upon thee and will return and gather thee from all the nations whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee. (Deuteronomy 30:1 to 3)

That prophecy was fulfilled in some measure, in 1948, by the Jews' returning to Palestine, which they renamed "Israel"!
